I was very happy with my installation of a solar tube with "Ash" doing the installation. It gives a lovely bright light into a dark hallway. He was very efficient and the clean-up was spotless. I would have no hesitation in recommending Skylights WA for such work. The only comment is that it took a long time for someone to come out to give a quote and then a further long wait for installation - no doubt they are very very busy because of their excellent service.

We had two Solatubes installed in our kitchen and dining room as there was limited natural light and these were fairly gloomy areas. The Solatubes look stylish and bring in a lot of light. In fact, when glancing towards these areas now, we often, momentarily, think we've left the lights on. In short, very happy with the product.

Great service from the Skylights WA Team. Peter was in regular contact keeping us informed of quote visit and eventual installation dates and times. Stewart was very helpful and knowledgable about the products when he came to do the quote and we were clear on what to expect. The team who completed the instal were very efficient and cleaned up after the work. The cost was on the high end but matched the service and hopefully will equate to many years of trouble free operation. We had the solar tube with remote/ solar shutter installed. Daniel the Sparky also did a good job of disconnecting the existing light and instal of 4 x downlights. Thanks all.

On time & efficient

The work done by Skylights WA was very professional and we were kept up to date with timing for the various tradespeople needed to complete the installation. The results are amazing. We did not realise that replacing existing 20+ year-old skylights with modern units would give such a dramatic improvement in lighting in the house.

After the Skylights were installed, we now see a daylight of difference in the kitchen dining room area.

We had a solar roof vent installed to try and cool the house down a bit over summer. I was hopeful that we'd be able to feel a difference but the effect has been more than I could have imagined! The house feels less stuffy when we arrive home, and so much cooler throughout the day that on at least two occasions family members have thought the air con was on, when it wasn't. Very happy to have got this in literally a week before a severe heatwave!

The new Solatube skylight has meant we do not need the lights on in the family room during the day which is a great improvement. It has not rained heavily yet so we do not know if it is leakproof but the installer was very efficient so I feel sure it will be.

We recently had Skylights WA install a skylight in our bathroom in Kingsley, they were fantastic to deal with, its a great product and has made such a difference and the price was right. We are so happy with the solar tube skylight in my daughters bedroom. The bedroom is in the dark side of the house and it gets very little natural light. Excuse the messy teenagers room, but you can see from the photos the difference it’s made. Both photos taken at the same time of day and both on an overcast day. Our experience with Skylights WA was fantastic. They were professional, provided some great, cost effective solutions for my daughters bedroom and the installation all went very smoothly. We engaged Skylights WA to upgrade an existing ensuite bathroom skylight which had been problematic, we imagine, since it was originally installed by the previous owners. After engaging multiple skylight specialists in Perth it was turning out that this wasn’t going to be a straightforward substitution and in fact was going to be quite a challenging project. Some didn’t even consider the job workable. Enter Skylights WA…Brett, from the onset, provided such a refreshing can-do approach and was able to convert our raw ideas of the new skylight into a refined and practical solution without hesitation. While we had to wait to have the job started, the outcome was definitely worth the wait. Once started there were no delays to the schedule and the works were completed seamlessly with an incredible efficiency. We are so happy with our new roof solution and skylight, it looks better than we ever imagined. Thanks Skylights WA, we love our 4 Velux Skylights. We have two of the solar opening and two fixed windows. The professionalism and quality of work done by all of the tradesman that came and did the work was brilliant. We were advised that Velux VSS C08 solar opening auto close when it rains. that was tested last night and when we checked this morning they were closed. it work perfectly. I don’t normally do google reviews because I feel the bad reviews are unjustified if they are one offs and on the other hand i’m never really totally wowed enough to want to do a good review. But I am beyond impressed with my new skylights. I had a basic Bunnings skylight already installed but the amount of light coming in from that seems like nothing now compared to the Solatube skylights that Skylights WA have installed. I am truly amazed and couldn’t be happier with this addition to my home. I actually want to tell everybody about it because i’m certain almost every home could benefit from these! The company was great too. The person who came to quote was widely knowledgeable in many home renovation aspects. The installer was pleasant and just kept at it. 6 stars out of 5!

We have a lovely home in Halls Head, the only negative was the position of the kitchen. The previous owners had tinted the windows and built a larger covered deck, good to keep the heat out - however it also made the kitchen very dark and even in daytime we needed all the lights on. We discovered ‘Solatube’ on the internet and were directed to ‘Perth Daylighting’. I called and spoke to Doug, who, with great patience ,took us through, how it works, what size we might need, the budget cost and all we needed to know. He was so helpful and friendly we made a decision on the spot. No deposit was required and a date was agreed for him to come and do an official inspection and quote. He arrived at the time he said he would, even though he was based in Bunbury. All was agreed and it was confirmed that Dirk would fit it the following week. Again Dirk arrived at the designated time and laid down dust sheets, went about his job and in no time at all, it was completed with everything clean and spotless. The result we have found to be absolutely amazing. The area is so bright, even on cloudy days, we no longer need to waste electricity and I find myself looking for the switch to turn off the light ! As we use the kitchen a lot, I do believe this is a good investment , both in cost savings and by adding value to the home. I am sure it will in no time pay for itself. From the very first enquiry through to the home consultation on product and options (obligation free) to installation, service from Skylights WA has been phenomenal. We are so incredibly happy with the final product in our kitchen and bathroom. The tradies today were on time and completed the job in 2 hours flat. Have just had my ensuite renovated and had an amazing product installed by Skylights WA called a solar tube. This product is amazing. Before I had it installed every time day or night I would have to turn on the lights. Now I go and think the light is on but it’s not. Even on cloudy days it does an amazing job. Thanks to Brett Rice and his people you have just finished off what is a ensuite that I just love. Thanks. Would recommended this company over and over again. I installed a square Solatube into our dark hallway and it has transformed the entrance. We used to have the light on all the time and now enjoy natural light all day long.

Skylights WA provided me with what is best described as exemplary, top class, old fashioned CustomerService. My many queries were answered with patience and care. Brett came to my home on two occasions to discuss my skylight and ensure that I was happy with the final product. I was never made to feel bothersome.

Today we had 2x Solar Tubes installed, 1x in our entrance hallway and 1x above our kitchen bench, as they were two of the darkest areas in our home. We knew we were finally going to see some light but OMG the brightness is AMAZING !!! Not only are they extremely effective but they also look very stylish. They are that good that I feel like I now have to up my cleaning game haha I would highly recommend Skylights WA. The customer service we received from the office staff, Jake (who came to quote the job) and Tom (the installer) are top notch. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and very professional. Definitely money well spent. I wish we did this years ago. Thank you to everyone that we dealt with regarding our skylights.

I had skylights WA supply and fit 3 skylights last year
Had a couple of small problems with water leaks rang them and it was like they dropped everything to fix our faults
Peter just rang to make sure we were happy
I cannot fault there workmanship and customer service

Brett came out to quote, talked us through all the options from cheapest to most expensive but wasnt pushy at all, and gave us the price on the spot so we could easily decide. The install was great, turned up on time and finished up quick leaving us with a bright kitchen and hallway. Very pleased, thank you.

The beautiful light now coming into our gloomy kitchen and hallway has given our home a much needed mood lift. Being central rooms they were lacking natural light and solar tubes have made these areas so much more practical, without turning on the lights.
